BASES:

is open to all English-speaking writers, no matter what country they reside.
2.
Writers who have been winners in previous competitions may not participate in this call.
3.
This year, interested parties may participate in a novel written in English, which should have a maximum extension of 250 pages and a minimum of 120.
4.
Work submitted must be unpublished and printed in triplicate, double spaced, Times 12 point, in letter size and also should submit an electronic file on compact disc.
5.
Papers should appear signed with a pseudonym, sending with them, under separate cover, a card containing the name, address, phone and e-mail the author. The envelope will come labeled with the pseudonym. Identification of tenders will be in the custody of a notary public in Mexico City and is only open for the winner, the others will be destroyed.

reception is open to works from this call (July 6, 2010), closing on October 29, 2010. ERIOD will respect a maximum of six days to receive material that is deposited on the closing date, recorded with the postmark.

The winner will receive a prize in the amount of 20 000.00 dollars, the issue the work under the label of the three organizing institutions in Siglo XXI Editores, to be held in the course of 2011 and a diploma. Award amount will be deducted taxes.

The economic rights of the winning entry will belong to the three organizing institutions and therefore the work can not participate in other awards, except with the express permission of the publisher.

The complete edition of the work is borne exclusively by the publisher.

The award will be unique and indivisible if it was not awarded will not be awarded honorable mentions.
13. The jury will be composed of three important intellectuals of international stature, appointed by the organizing committee, whose names will be announced after the prizes.

The jury's decision is final.
15. The winner will be announced to the media on February 8, 2011 and on the websites of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, El Colegio de Sinaloa Siglo XXI Editores.
16.
Delivery of Sixth International Prize for Fiction UNAM - COLSIN - Siglo XXI Editores be carried out within the framework of the International Book Fair of Mining in 2011 in Mexico City, chaired by the authorities of institutions involved.
17. The travel expenses, room and board winner, will be covered by the organizing committee of this event.
18. The jobs that are not winners will not be returned and together with the tender will be destroyed in the presence of a notary public.
19. Any contingency related to this call be resolved at the discretion of the jury and the organizing committee of the contest.
